Graphics Card: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1650 4GB Graphics Card Motherboard: Asus Prime X570-Pro Motherboard System Manufacturer/Model Number: ChillBlast Custom :-) So personal use recommendations would be helpful. At least without buying first which I'm reluctant to do without some solid recommendations. It would be great if I could get these 2 folders loaded into a duplicate photo checker. OK this isn't as efficient as a photo duplicate finder, but it's better than I've achieved with my duplicate file checkers so far. I can get both folders loaded in 2 copies of File Explorer, but haven't figured out how to put these 2 windows side by side. ![]() How reliable, objective can that review be? It also just happens to be one of the softwares with restricted options until you buy. The last review of dalchina's list the top recommendation seems to be the Duplicate Photos Fixer Pro which just happens to be the software the reviewer, SysTweak is selling. I've been bitten with that option too many times, to make that an attractive option. 1st impressions is this ain't going to be easy for what I want to do without buying something 'blind". Some want you to buy before I can even trial use the restricted options. Some seem to be only working on 1 folder at a time, AFAIK. But checking with File Explorer the pictures are there. Some install and run, but when I select the folders to compare, they show the folders as being empty. But I would be happy to pay a modest amount for software which would facilitate me in what I'm trying to achieve. I suppose there is nothing which could actually compare the pictures, which might make this an easier task?Īny and all suggestions are welcome. This is going to be tough with low thousands of pictures in each folder. Delete from the old folder, rinse and repeat. So I need to physically look at each picture, if it doesn't appear in the new folder then copy/move to the new folder. The difficult part (for me) is the filenames are not the same in each folder. Lets say 1 folder is called "new' and the other "old", I only want to copy files from the "old" to the "new" folder if they don't already exist in the new folder. What I need to do is to compare two folders both full of pictures and copy all the pictures which are in 1 folder but not the other, to the other folder. The two panes need to be displayed graphically (a thumbnail is good enough), not just the filename. ![]() ![]() What I'm looking for is a file manager which has 2 panes and preferably a folder panel for ease of movement. Which is a file manager which would display thumbnails of each folder. My searches for such a software have not yielded any possible contenders.
